Welcome to our site!  St. James' Cathedral stands in the heart of a busy and multicultural city as a reminder of God's generosity and hospitality.  We seek to be a voice of reconciliation in a sometimes hostile world, a place of pilgrimage for those who seek healing and spiritual transformation, a place for dialogue and action on issues of social and political concern.  I hope that your visit to our site, no matter how brief, may be a time to enjoy the beauty and peace of this special place.

-The Very Reverend Douglas Stoute,
Dean of Toronto & Rector of St. James' Cathedral

Thanks!

St. James is so fortunate to have M&M Meat Shop as a neighbour! On August 18 and 19 BBQs were held which raised over $700 in support of our Outreach program!

An Honour

The Cathedral community was honoured to have Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh here for Choral Mattins on Sunday, July 4, 2010.
