Tuesday Afternoon Drop-In Centre
The Centre is open every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30-4:30pm in the Cathedral, providing a snack and various social services to individuals in the community.
Drop In Includes:
- Soup and a Snack: “In a world where many are lonely and many are hungry, we thank God for friendship and food and each other. Amen”
- Barber / Hair Cuts
- A Bible Study
- Health Clinic: See the nurse, have your blood pressure checked or receive your supply of vitamins, tooth paste, shampoo or soap.
- Foot Care Clinic
- The Good Food Box Program: Boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables are provided for a minimal charge for low-income singles and families on a monthly basis. The Cathedral matches the contributions made by the programs clients.
- A Priest on-the-floor
- Volunteer Opportunities.
Over 100 people attend the drop in each week.
